Send plans
Send any job's approved plans and get a landed price per line within 72 hours, from at least three Verified factories, under your name. The Project Plan is free on your first job.
A fit-out is decided between approval and lock-up. Elje prices it landed in the first week, before a supplier is chosen.
What to send
- The approved set, or the latest drawings if approval is close.
- Kitchen, laundry, robe and vanity joinery drawings or shop drawings, if you have them. Rough elevations are fine.
- Wet-area layouts and the fixture schedule.
- Your selections or the client's mood board: door finish, stone or porcelain, tiles, tapware.
- The site suburb and the date you need goods on site.
What comes back in 72 hours
- An indicative landed price per line: kitchen, joinery, benchtops, tiles, tapware, sanitary, doors.
- Each line priced landed to the site: factory price, freight, insurance, port and biosecurity charges, broker, duty and GST, delivery.
- The local showroom range for the same lines, so you can see the gap.
- Lines we think you should buy locally, and why.
- A 20-minute call to go through it.
Then, if the job goes ahead
The Project Plan turns the estimate into firm quotes from the factories, a landed price per line, the timeline to site and the inspector, forwarder and broker booked. It is $990 to your client, and free on your first job with us.
Your client buys from the factory and is the importer. Elje never holds client money: with Elje Assured the balance waits with a licensed escrow partner until the inspection passes.

How long it takes to site
Stock lines run about 6 to 10 weeks door to door. Custom joinery runs about 12 to 16 weeks from drawing sign-off. Factories close for Chinese New Year from mid January to late February. Send plans at approval, not at lock-up.
Questions
Do my client's details go to a factory?
Only as an introduction your client has agreed to. Until then factories see the drawings and the line items, not a name or an address.
Can the estimate go out under my business name?
Yes. The landed prices are yours to show your client. Elje Pro, from late 2027, adds a white-label selections portal for that.
Do you draw the kitchen?
No. You or your designer draw it. We tell you what a factory needs on the drawings and check them before they go.
Is engineered stone an option?
No. Engineered stone has been banned in Australia since 1 July 2024. We price porcelain, sintered stone and natural stone.
