Foshan Group Trip
$4,900 a family. Five days in Foshan with eight families: the tile district, the sanitary ware and tapware showrooms, the joinery factories, the stone yards and the forwarder's warehouse. Filmed.
Who it is for
Owners and builders with an approved build and a Project Plan underway, who want to see the factories, touch the samples and sign off before they order. Most people never need to go. Some want to, and this is the way to do it without a wasted day.
The five days

When
Dates are set once eight families are booked. We avoid Chinese New Year (6 February 2027; factories close from mid January to late February) and plan around the Canton Fair, whose building materials phase is expected in late April 2027 but not yet confirmed.
What it costs
$4,900 a family for the five days. We book the factories, the days and the guide. You pay your own flights, visa and hotel. The trip does not replace the Project Plan; it is for people who want to see where their house is being made.
Questions
Do I have to go to China to buy direct?
No. The five-bedroom Brisbane house and granny flat we fitted out was ordered from Brisbane. Samples, the Project Plan, inspection and Assured do the work a trip does.
Will we meet factories that are not Verified?
No. Every factory on the trip is one Elje would introduce you to anyway.
Is it filmed?
Yes. Families can ask not to be shown.
